My dog is small and delicate. Is group housing suitable for him?
In the rooms we have the dogs housed in several small groups. During their play outside they are – if possible – kept all together or are in small groups as needed. In assembling the groups, several factors come into question, because ultimately its not about the size of a dog but the size of his character! The safety and welfare of each individual entrusted to us is our priority – no matter how big the holiday guest is!
Are special vaccinations required for my dog?
The basic immunization, that is refreshed as standard each year is a must. If the vaccination was given more than 1 year ago, then it must be carried out at least three weeks before the stay. Make sure that the vaccinations are done on time!
The Nasal vaccination is compulsory.
What is the “nasal vaccine” and why is it needed?
The nasal immunization protects dogs against the so-called dog flu, commonly known as kennel cough – a concept somewhat irritating, because this infectious disease is not reserved to only dogs in kennels. The causative pathogens are easily transferable among the dog species. People with flu can infect dogs, but conversely, there is no danger. If – as in a kennel – dogs from different environments come together in a group, this additional protection is absolutely necessary. As the name implies, the nasal vaccine is administered through the nose. The vaccine must be administered about three weeks before the stay, so that protection is given in time.
If my dog needs a vet – how does it work?
Should your dog need a vet, firstly your normal veterinarian will be contacted. If he is from Innsbruck, then your dog will be treated by him.
Why should I register online?
The registration or reservation process is fully electronic, so it is even easier for you. You can fill out the form for each reservation or re-save your data. This creates an electronic data sheet, which you can access directly in the future - that will save you the repeated typing.
Of course, your data will be kept confidential. The data is used exclusively for handling and care of the business and makes possible faster processing of your reservation.
After successful booking you will receive a confirmation email.
Can I also book by e-mail?
Reservations can be made only by means of the same online form. We have changed our registration and reservation completely to electronic data management. Because of automatic information processing, it is necessary that you give your contact details and information about your dog or your dogs in their respective fields in the form. For specific comments or information regarding your reservation, please use that box on the reservation form.
